He died and title passed to his eldest brother John Custis of Hungars, and from him to an only child Margaret, who married Samuel Wilson of Somerset. In 1762 Samuel and Peggy Wilson sold to Jacob Taylor, son of James, and in 1795 he and his wife Esther sold 50 acres to John Howard and 126 acres to James Taylor Jr.
