     In the name of God Amen I Jesse Wilson of the County of Rockingham State of North Carolina being of sound and perfect mind trusting upon to God this 21day of May 1831make this my last will and testament as in manners following, that is today this (1) I give and bequeath to my son Greenberry Wilson one horse and saddle worth one hundred dollars and my bed and furniture and one cow and calf worth forty dollars and a Negro name Moses worth three hundred dollars makes the whole amount of property given to my son four hundred and ninety dollars (2) willing I give and bequeath to my son George Wilson one hundred and fifty four acres of land laying on the water of Paton town origin the same for him to have and to hold with all there contents and with fine furniture also one mare worth one hundred dollars also I give one Negro girl name Lucy worth one hundred fifty dollars one table and chairs furniture and a cow and a calf worth fifty dollars which makes the amount of property given to him seven hundred and fifty dollars (3) I give and bequeath to my son John Wilson willingly one mare worth sixty dollars one horse and saddle worth ninety dollars also a Negro child Lydia worth one hundred and fifty dollars and bed and furniture worth one hundred fifty dollars which leaving the amount of property that I have bequeath to three hundred and fifty five dollars (4) I give and bequeath to my daughter Nancy Owen one horse kitchen furniture a cow and calf one Negro girl name Polly the amount of property I have heretofore given her five hundred forty dollars to the (5) I give and bequeath to my daughter Anny Smith a Negro women and her two youngest children worth six hundred dollars and Oreele Ann furniture worth forty dollars the whole amount of property I give to my daughter six hundred and forty dollars then (6) I give and bequeath to my son James Wilson one gray horse and saddle worth ninety dollars one Resam furniture one cow and calf worth sixty dollars one Negro boy nameG Washington worth three hundred dollars making the whole amount of property heretofore given to him four hundred and thirty dollars the (7) I give and bequeath to my son Corrindon Wilson one horse worth sixty dollars which makes the whole amount of property I give to my son sixty dollars and after my death a Negro man name Redoman worth Five hundred dollars to have and to hold immediately after my death then (8) I give and bequeath to my son Aquilla Wilson one Maer worth seventy five dollars which makes the whole amount of property worth seventyfive dollars then (9) I give and bequeath to my daughter Bethany Wilson one bed and furniture worth thirty dollars a Negro girl name Rucenia worth three hundred dollars which this property has not been given this property of my daughterbut to have at my death to have and to hold the same time as my death then (10) I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Wilson one bed and furniture worth thirty dollars and one Negro girl Rachal worth three hundred dollars this same tohave and to hold immediately after my death is to be hers then (11) I give andbequeath to my son Greenberry Wilson after my death a Negro boy name John worth three hundred dollars to have and to hold immediately after my death then (12) I give and bequeath to my son Aquilla Wilson one Negro boy named Nicholes worth five hundred dollars to have and to hold immediately after my death then (13) I give and bequeath to my wife Sally Wilson twelve Negros named John, Rem, Betty, Isaac, Lester, Judy, Dave, Faraday, Lucy, Jackson, Caroline, and Moses andmy heart of land on which I reside in Rockingham County on Williamson Creek and all of my household and kitchen furniture plantation tools black smith shop and all my stock consisting of horses cattle hogs all to have and to hold her natural life or understood but at the expiration of either life or cohabitation with any man the testament no longer to be hers
