THIS INDENTURE made this thirty first day of July in the yeare of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and four Betweene JOHN REYNOLDS of the Parish of ST. MARY in the County of Richmond of the one part and Mr. RICHARD TALIAFERRO of the County of ESSEX of the other part. Wittnesseth that the said JOHN REYNOLDS hath granted unto the said RICHARD TALIAFERRO and to his heires and assignes forever a certaine parcel of Land containeing by estimation Two hundred acres more or less being part of a Patent of Five hundred acres (granted to WILLIAM REYNOLDS deceased and the said JOHN REYNOLDS by Collo. WILLIAM FITZHUGH, Agent for the PROPIETORS of the NORTHERN NECK) beareing date the fifteenth day of October One thousand six hundred ninety and seven, the said Two hundred acres of Land as aforesaid to begin att a marked white Oake being the lover corner tree of ROBERT PAYNEs line by the side of Sunken Ground opposite to certaine Glade, running from the said white Oake North into the woods to a Swamp supposed to be seventy or eighty paces from the Dwelling House of WILLIAM REYNOLDS, and from thence a cross to the East line of the said Patent, and from thence along the said line downe to the River and athwart to the prime station, the River being the natural' bounds, together wth: all houses gardens orchards wth: all other premisses to the said land appertaineing and all the right and interest which the said JOHN REYNOLDS hath or ought to have to the sd Land and premisses as aforesaid for and in consideration of a Negro Man and four thousandpounds of Arronoko Tobbo: and casks to him payd. before the ensealing of these presents by the said RICHARD TALIAFERRO, the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and himselfe therewith fully satisfyed; To have and to hold all and every part of the afore- said Land with all appurtenances and priviledges of the premisses above sold to the only use and proper behoofe of the said RICHARD TALIAFERRO his heirs' s and assignes for ever more; And that he the said JOHN REYNOLDS hath full power to grant and sell the said premisses and furthermore the said JOHN REYNOLDS doth for himselfe his heires covenant that he the said RICHD. THIS INDENTURE made the Second day of Aprill in the twelvth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lady Anne by the grace of God of Great Brittaine France and Ireland, Queene defender of the faith &c., and in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and thirteene, Betweene JOHN REYNOLDS of the Parish of St. Marys in the County of ESSEX within the Dominion of Virginia, Carpenter, of one part and BROMFIELD LONG of the Parish of St. Marys in the County of Richmond within the Dominion of Virginia, Blacksmith, of the other part; Wittnesseth that JOHN REYNOLDS in consideration of the summe of Five thousand pounds of good sound merchantable tobacco and casks to him in hand paid by BRUMFIELD LONG, by these presents doth bargaine sell release and confirme unto said BRUMFIELD LONG and his heirs, the said BRUMFIELD LONG being in actual' possession of the premises by virtue of a Lease thereof made and of ye Statute for transferring uses into possession, all that tract of land formerly in the tenure and occupation of CORNELIUS REYNOLDS scituate in the Parish of St. Marys in ye County of Richmond containing by estimation in the whole Fifty and two acres of land bounded (the description of the bounds repeated as in the foregoing Lease); To have and to hld the premises hereby granted with every of their respective rights members and appurtenances unto BRUMFIELD LONG his heirs; And the said JOHN REYNOLDS doth grant for himselfe and his heirs by these presents that he shall warrant and for ever defend the before granted land unto BROMFIELD LONG his heirs against him the said JOHN REYNOLDS and all other persons whatsoever; And further the said JOHN REYNOLDS and MARY his now Wife their heirs shall au any Court held for the County of Richmond within six months after the date of these presents upon the request of the said BRUMFIELD LONG his heirs duely and personally or by Power of Attorney acknowledge these presents in Court to the end the same may be recorded; In Wittness whereof the parties aforesaid have to these presents sett their hands and seales the day month and year first mentioned

THIS INDENTURE made the Sixth day of Aprill in the Twelth year of ye Reign of our Sovereign Lady Anne by the grace of God of Great Brittaine France and Ireland, Queene defender of the faith &c., and in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and thirteene Betweene CORNELIUS REYNOLDS of the Parish of St. Anne's in the County of ESSEX within the Dominion of Virginia, Planter, and JOHN REYNOLDS the Younger of the same Parish and County, Planter, of one part and HENRY LONG of the Parish of St. Mary in the County of Richmond within the Dominion of Virginia, Planter, of other part; Wittnesseth that CORNELIUS REYNOLDS and JOHN REYNOLDS in consideration of the summe of Five shillings of good & lawfull money of England to them in hand paid by HENRY LONG, by these presents do bargaine and sell unto HENRY LONG all that tract of woodland ground adjoyning a certaine Branch running into GINGATEAG CREEK att the upper end thereof and running thence over the same the full length of this Land, and lying contiguous betweene the Land of SIMON MILLER and the Land of HENRY LONG party to these presents and adjoynin g upon the Land of BRUMFIELD LONG which he had by his late Marryage with ELIZABETH his now Wife att the lowermost part or end thereof; being part of a Patent of Five hundred acres of Land granted by the Proprietors unto JOHN REYNOLDS and WILLIAM REYNOLDS and their heirs, which said Land is to be measured laid out and surveyed and to containe in the whole the full quantity of One hundred sixty & six acres of land, given and devised to said CORNELIUS REYNOLDS and JOHN REYNOLDS and their heirs by the Last Will and Testament of their late Father, WILLIAM REYNOLDS deceased, scituate in the Parish of St. Mary in the County of Richmond together with all profits comodities and priviledges whatsoever belonging and all Estate right title and demand of them ye sd. CORNELIUS REYNOLDS and JOHN REYNOLDS in ye same; To have and to hold the Land and premises with their rights members and appurtenances unto HENRY LONG his heirs; during the full terme of one whole yeare, paying therefore the Rent of one eare of Indian Corne on the Birth day of our Lord God next ensuing if lawfully demanded to the intent that by virtue of these presents and of the Statute for transferring uses into possession the said HENRY LONG may be in the actual! and sole possession of the premises and be thereby the better enabled to accept a release confirmation of other conveyance of the free hold reversion and inheritance thereof; In Wittness whereof the parties aforesaid have to these presents sett their hands and seales the day month and year first above written
