Mary Cahia and Samuel Trimmer appeared in the census of 3 July 1860 at Franklin Township, Jackson Co., Ohio, USA; Curiously, there are two Samuel and Mary Trimmers listed on the same page. Samuel #1 (lines 6-11) has four children and they have the same names as the first four children of Samuel #2 (lines 29-37), though everyone's age is off by one year.

Mariah Ann Trimmer married (?) Sheppard; Mariah's inscription (on her parent's grave marker) says "Maria A. Sheppard, Their Daughter". There is a record on Ancestry for a marriage by a John G. Sheppard, but I don't believe that the spouse is Mariah Trimmer. This marriage is in 1855, but she appears in her father's house as Mariah Trimmer in the 1860 census..
