From The Presbyterian of the South, Vol. 86, No. 40, dated 17 Oct 1917
MRS. MARGARET WADE
Entered into rest, September 3, 1917, Mrs. Margaret Wade, a beloved mother in Israel. Born at the ancestral home near Radford, Va., Mrs. Wade was crowned with life to the ripe age of eighty-three years. For well beyond a half of a century, that elect lady was a devoted member of the Christiansburg, Va., Presbyterian church, a regular attendant on all the services, and a helper in all the activities of the congregation. The last years were filled with weariness and pain, but "the dews of sorrow were lustered with his love." Prayer was answered and the end of earthly life was full of peace and a sunset without a cloud.
The family circle that survives are her children, Mr. C. I. Wade, Mr. H. M. Wade, Mrs. H. T. Stone, Mrs. Guy F. Ellett, all of Christiansburg, Va; and Mr. MacWade [sic], of Lynchburg, Va., and Mr. Robert Wade, of Seattle, Wash; and a goodly number of grandchildren. No mother could have received more tender care. Love for her was as strong as death, and many waters could not quench it.
Serving her generation, Mrs. Wade has greeted her King. A woman of remarkable endowments of body and mind, abundant in her ministries to all in need, she held a large place in the hearts of her children and her friends. Interest in life for her did not wane. She did not lose the savor of past mercies and past pleasures. Grateful memory survived in every hour of darkness and loving kindness made bright the home of her habitation. She was glad to think that there would always be roses, and sunsets, and songs of birds as long as life should last. For her, as for so many of God's children, there was a peculiar clearness and freshness in the air, a peculiar glory in the sunlight ere earthly day faded off into the tearless morning of heaven. "Her children arise up and call her blessed. Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her own works praise her."

In an event reminiscent of his own capture by Indians as a child, Thoms Ingles' own family was attacked by Shawnee Indians in 1782. In the ensuing rescue two of his children were killed and wife, Eleanor, tomahawked so severely that a surgeon removed 13 pieces of skull from her head. Shortly after this occurrence Thomas Ingles, his wife, and infant daughter (Rhoda), moved to Tennessee and settled in succession on the Watauga River at Mossy Creek, and at Fort Knox, now Knoxville. There his daughter, Rhoda, who had escaped death, grew up and married Patrick Campbell in 1800. Rhoda and Patrick had one daughter - Susan Ingles Campbell.

Patrick Campbell was a man of great personal bravery and sterling integrity, a successful merchant, and conspicuous in all enterprises calculated to promote the growth and prosperity of the home of his adoption. He sleeps in the old church graveyard; his gravestone bears, as an unmistakable mark of his worth, a Masonic emblem. [from: Art Work of Knoxville. Published in Twelve Parts. W.H.      Thomas Ingles is a grandson of Mary Draper Ingles; see here for info on her: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_Draper_Ingles
When Thomas Ingles was born on December 25, 1791, in Tennessee, his father, Thomas, was 40 and his mother, Eleanor, was 36.
Thomas was a worthy and honorable, though somewhat eccentric, man. He wrote a short sketch of his father's life. He also wrote a short auto-biographical sketch of himself. He seems to have been "all things by turns, and nothing long." He says he studied law, medicine, theology and politics, but did not practice any profession.
He was a book-keeper, deputy sheriff, school teacher, militia commander, trustee, treasurer, secretary, etc., of several corporations -- business, religious and literary -- a merchant and a planter; but, perhaps, more than anything else, postmaster.
In 1843, at Augusta, Ky., where, for many years, he was their postmaster, and they never had a better.
He had been twice married, first to Miss Barnes, the issue being four sons and three daughters; and, second, to Miss Elexzea H.Warren, the issue being three sons and two daughters.
Some years later he moved to Cincinnati, where he died on November 21, 1863, aged seventy-two, and was buried there.
