He m 2nd, 7 Feb 1590, Jane Lauder, widow of Sir James Forrester of Costorphine, and of John Campbell of Calder, but had no issue by her. He d 3 Sept 1590, having by his 1st wife had with other issue, DAVID, 1st LORD LINDSAY OF BALCARRES.¹
