     He was an "Agricultural Innovator" as he was among the first to enrich the soil with lime and was known as one of the pioneers of soil supplementing with "liming".
     Date of birth is "Old Style" and not converted by me.... December 22, 1746 would be the converted date.
     He was the land owner of one of the largest farms in the Great Valley, named "Oakland", his grandson cared meticulously for the farm and was called the "Prince of the Valley".

     Yesterday Elizabeth D. Meredith, a resident at the Barclay Home, West Chestnut Street, West Chester, died after a brief serious illness of heart trouble, in the 90th year of her age. The deceased was born in Chester County, and comes of an old family of Chester Valley. Before coming to the Home here to board she was a resident of Downingtown, and was a member of Friend's Meeting of that place. She was unmarried. She outlived other relatives in this vicinity. The deceased was a woman of genial disposition and had numerous friends in this community.
     MEREDITH- In West Chester, Pa., on 11th-mo., 22, 1914, Elizabeth D. Meredith, in the 90th year of her age.
