Olivier II "Le Jeune" de Clisson seigneur de Clisson et Blain died circa 1307.1,3
      ; Per Genealogics:
"Olivier, called 'le Jeune', was born about 1236, the son of Olivier I de Clisson and Plaisou de La Roche Derrien. With his wife Marie Bertrand de Briquebec, dame de Thury, daughter of Guillaume Bertrand de Briquebec, seigneur de Thury et du Thuit, and Jeanne de Nesle, he had a son Olivier III who would have progeny.
"His father had warred against Jean I 'le Roux', duc de Bretagne, who forced Olivier I to capitulate and, not deigning to deal with the father, chose to deal with the son. Jean forced him to pay compensation of four thousand livres, and severely damaged his castle of Blain, at that time far more important than the castle of Clisson.
"Olivier II received the duke's permission to repair the castle, and built it into a formidable fortress. He placed his sword in the service of the king of France, and was one of the lords who brought the greatest support to Philippe IV 'le Bel' when he was at war both with his vassals and with the English. Though Olivier loved Brittany this did not extend to its duke until the last years of his life, when he became closer to his overlord.
     "Olivier died about 1307."3
