Ruprecht "der englander" (?) died on 20 May 1426 at Heidelberg, Bavaria, Germany (now), at age 16.1
; per van de Post: [quote]For some reason I never bought volume I, in the long run I am glad as Volume I was re-issued as Volumes 1.1, 1.2 1,3.

Volume 1.1 Tafel 93 gives Blanka von England (Lancaster-Anjou-Plantagenet) born early 1392 (no place) died 22 May 1409 Hagenau, buried Neustadt St. Agidius, daughter of Henry IV. Her child is Ruprecht der Englander, born 22 May 1406 Heidelberg, died 20 May 1426 Heidelberg, buried Heidelberg Hl.Geist.

As a copyist Richardson seems to have done a good job, but as already has been shown primary sources give the year 1409 for Ruprecht's birth. Also the marriage date Richardson gives is wrong. ES 1.1. Tagel 93 gives that the marriage contract was signed 7 March 1401, but the marriage took place about 22 July 1402 in Heidelberg

If 1406 was the correct year Blanche would have been about 14 when she gave birth, which I suppose could have been possible, but as Michael Andrews-Reading has revealed Blanche died in 1409 giving birth. It would have been an incredible co-incidence had Ruprecht been born three years earlier on exactly the same day his mother died, supposedly three years later.

On Genealogics I also have the wrong year of birth for Ruprecht, but my source was the earlier ES editor Frank Baron Freytag von Loringhoven, 1975 Tafel 31. [end quote]1
