; Per Med Lands: "JUDITH [Yvette] of Jerusalem (1119-after 31 Dec 1178). She is named "Iveta" by William of Tyre who also records her parentage and that she was born after her father´s accession (only in the Latin text: the version in old French implies that it was Hodierna who was the daughter who was born after their father's accession)[99]. Her sister Queen Mélisende installed her as abbess of the convent of St Lazarus, which she had founded at Bethany in 1143[100]. "Joeta, abbatissa S. Lazari de Bethania" exchanged property by charter dated 1157[101]. Baudouin IV King of Jerusalem confirmed the privileges of "Judithæ filiæ Balduini II abbatissæ S. Lazari de Bethania" by charter dated 31 Dec 1178[102]."

"Ioveta (c. 1120 - after 1161, before 1178), was a princess of Jerusalem and a Abbess of Bethany. Her name appears in various forms, including Joveta, Jovita, Jowita, Yvette, Iveta, Ivetta, and even Juditta.
Life
"Ioveta was the fourth and youngest daughter of King Baldwin II and Morphia of Melitene. She was the only one of Baldwin's daughters born after he became king in 1118. When Baldwin was taken captive by the Ortoqids near Edessa in 1123, Ioveta was one of the hostages given for his release. She was held at Shaizar until being ransomed to Baldwin in 1125 for eighty thousand dinars. Her ransom was gathered from the spoils taken after Baldwin's victory at the Battle of Azaz that year.
"Her sister Melisende, married Fulk V of Anjou and succeeded Baldwin to the throne of the Kingdom of Jerusalem, her sister Alice married Bohemund II of Antioch, and her sister Hodierna married Raymond II of Tripoli. Ioveta, on the other hand, entered the Convent of St. Anne in Jerusalem.
Abbess
"In 1143 Melisende built a convent dedicated to St. Lazarus at Bethany, on land purchased from the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem. After the death of the elderly first abbess, Ioveta was elected to the position in 1144. Though not as influential as her sisters, she had some power as abbess; a charter from 1157 survives in which she donated land to the Knights Hospitaller.
"Ioveta was responsible for the education of her grandniece Sibylla. Sibylla was the daughter of her nephew.
"Ioveta and her sisters were very close. When Melisende lay dying in 1161, Ioveta and Hodierna were at her side (Alice had probably died sometime earlier). After this Ioveta disappears from history; the date of her own death is unknown, but she was dead by 1178, when another abbess appears at the Convent of St. Lazarus.

The contract of marriage between "Bertrandus Raimundi filius" and "Electæ" is dated Jun 1095[237]. If this document is correctly dated, it is unlikely that Hélie was born much later than [1080/83]. A bull of Pope Pascal II dated 4 Feb 1107 names "Bertrannus comes" and comments that he had been "propter uxorem abiectam et multiplicata adulteria iamdiu excommunicationi subiectus"[238]. The document gives no more details of these charges, which from the context appear to have been brought some time before the date of the bull, whose main purpose was a threat of further excommunication against Bertrand for having attacked the monastery of Saint-Gilles. She accompanied her husband to Palestine[239]. Guillaume of Jumièges records that ”Willelmum Talavatium” married “Ala...quæ fuerat antea uxor ducis Burgundiæ” [incorrect], and had “duos filios et totidem filias”[240]. Comte de Toulouse, Count of Tripolis was also known as Bertrand (?) Comte de Toulouse.17,9

; Per Genealogics:
“Bertrand was the son of Raimond VI, comte de Toulouse, by a lady from Provence. He was the first count of Tripolis to rule in Tripolis itself. The name of his first wife is not known and there was no progeny from this marriage. In June 1095 he married Hélie de Bourgogne, daughter of Eudes I, duc de Bourgogne, and Sibylle de Bourgogne. They became the parents of Ponce, Philippe and Agnès, of whom their son Ponce would have progeny.
“Bertrand had ruled Toulouse since Raimond left on the First Crusade in 1095, although between 1098 and 1100 he was dispossessed by his cousin Philippa Mathilde de Toulouse and her husband Guillaume VII-IX 'le Jeune' de Poitou, duc d'Aquitaine, who marched into Toulouse and captured it, before mortgaging it back to Bertrand in 1100 to fund Guillaume's expedition to the Holy Land. Bertrand officially became count of Toulouse when Raimond died in 1105, and in 1108 he headed to Tripolis to take control there as well. He deposed Raimond's nephew Guillermo Jordán, conde de Cerdaña, as nominal count of Tripolis in 1109, and with Baudouin I, king of Jerusalem, and a fleet of Genoese ships he captured Tripolis on 10 June.
“Bertrand ruled in Tripolis until his death in January 1112. He was succeeded by his son Ponce in Tripolis and his half-brother Alfonse Jordain in Toulouse - although Toulouse was at that point again lost to Philippa Mathilde and Guillaume.”.1

; Per Med Lands:
"BERTRAND de Toulouse, son of RAYMOND IV "de Saint-Gilles" Comte de Toulouse & his first wife --- [de Provence] ([1065]-in Palestine 21 Apr 1112). William of Tyre names him as son of Comte Raymond IV[9]. Caffaro names "Beltramo Çauata…bastardus comitis Raymundi comitis sancti Egidii" when recording that he captured Tripoli[10]. He was regent for his father in Toulouse from Oct 1096, when the latter left for Palestine. He succeeded his father in 1105 as BERTRAND Comte de Toulouse. A series of bulls of Pope Pascal II dated between 15 Apr 1105 and 14 May 1108 reveal that "Bertrannus comes" failed to respect his father's abandonment of rights concerning the altar offerings at the monastery of Saint-Gilles, that he was excommunicated, recanted but attacked the monastery again[11]. After the arrival in Toulouse of his step-mother and infant half-brother, Bertrand left for Palestine in Summer 1108, and swore fidelity to Emperor Alexis I Comnenos at Constantinople. Albert of Aix records that "Bertrannus filius comitis Reimundi" arrived in Tortosa in March, dated to 1109 from the context, and demanded the territories formerly held by his father from Guillem Jordan Comte de Cerdanya[12]. At a council of crusader rulers outside Tripoli in Jun 1109, it was decided that Bertrand should receive Jebail, and Tripoli once it was captured, under the suzerainty of Baudouin I King of Jerusalem, while Guillem Jordan retained Tortosa and Arqa. On the death of either, the other would inherit his lands[13]. Bar Hebræus records that Tripoli was captured "par les Francs" in A.H. 503 (1109/10)[14]. Tripoli finally surrendered 12 Jul 1109, and he was installed as BERTRAND Count of Tripoli, under the suzerainty of the king of Jerusalem. Jebail was given to Ugo Embriaco, the Genoese admiral who had helped Bertrand[15]. Comte Bertrand inherited Tortosa and Arqa on the death of Guillem Jordan shortly after[16]. "Bertrandus…comes Raimundi Sancti Egidii filius" donated property for the soul of "Guillelmi Iordanis consanguinei mei" to the church of the Holy Sepulchre, Jerusalem with the consent of "Poncio filio suo", by undated charter[17].

The contract of marriage between "Bertrandus Raimundi filius" and "Electæ" is dated Jun 1095[19]. If this document is correctly dated, it is unlikely that Hélie was born much later than [1080/83]. “Bertrannus comes et uxor eius Adelaitz” relinquished claims to “monasterio Sancte Marie quod dicitur Monoasca” in favour of “[abbas] Beati Egidii”, in the presence of "Raimundo comite", by charter dated to "1096 after 12 Jul" in the compilation, signed by "Raimundi comitis, Bertranni et uxoris eius…Petri de Castlar, Ademarii vicecomitis…"[20]. The date does not appear in the document as reproduced, and the basis for the dating is unclear. If the date is correct, Bertrand was already married to Hélie de Bourgogne and "Adelaitz" must be a transcription or other error. If the dating is incorrect, it is possible that Adelais was an earlier wife of Count Bertrand. A bull of Pope Pascal II dated 4 Feb 1107 names "Bertrannus comes" and comments that he had been "propter uxorem abiectam et multiplicata adulteria iamdiu excommunicationi subiectus"[21]. The text implies that Ethelinde may not have been the mother of the sons in question. However, the fact that Siegfried's great-granddaughter was named Ethelinde suggests a blood relationship with Ethelinde senior. Another possibility is that "comitissa Machtilde" and "Ethelind" were in fact the same person, mother of both Siegfried's sons."

“Ekbert was the scion of the influential Eastphalian family of the Brunonen. He inherited the familial lands in Brunswick and from about 1051 he shared the chief authority in the region with the bishop of Hildesheim. Ekbert also extended his authority and estates into Friesia under the suzerainty of the archbishop of Hamburg-Bremen.
“Although closely related to the Salian dynasty, Ekbert participated in the coup d'état of Kaiserswerth in 1062, in which a group of nobles acting under Anno II, archbishop of Cologne, tried to seize authority in the kingdom from King Heinrich IV and his regent mother, the Empress Agnes.
“In 1058 Ekbert married Irmingard de Susa, widow of Otto, Herzog von Schwaben, Markgraf von Schweinfurt, and daughter of Olderich Manfred II, count of Susa, and Berte d'Este. His only son Ekbert II succeeded him in Meissen. His daughter Gertrud later brought Meissen to her third husband Heinrich I, Graf von Eilenburg. Ekbert I died on 11 January 1068.”.5

; Per Genealogics:
"Alberto was born about 970, the son of Oberto Obizzo II and Railinda of Como. He was a member of the Obertenghi (or Adalbertini) family. Alberto first appears in the historical record in 1011. On 10 May 1013 he was acting as a _missus_ in Italy. He inherited the counties of Luni, Tortona, Genoa and Milan on his father's death about 1017. His holdings were extensive and both feudal and allodial. Alberto and his brothers Hugo, Adalbert and Obizzo all carried the title margrave. Their sister Berte married Arduin of Italy to ally the Anscarid and Obertenga families. Another sister also named Berte married Olderich Manfred, count of Susa. Alberto himself married Adelaida, a Salian and relative of Lanfranc, Count of Aucia. He and Adelaida settled at Este in the Veronese area. They had a son Alberto Azzo II who would have progeny.
"At first, Alberto and his brothers supported their brother-in-law Arduin against Emperor Heinrich II in the war for the Italian throne. In 1014 he did not oppose Heinrich's imperial coronation, but after Heinrich II left in May, he sought to aid Arduin. After July he confiscated Solingen, robbed the church, and assaulted Pavia, Vercelli and Novara. In 1019 he reconciled with Heinrich, but in 1022 all four brothers were captured by Heinrich's forces and Alberto submitted, receiving the _iudiciaria_ (right of justice) in Monselice. In the spring of 1026 Alberto joined Olderich Manfred in defending Pavia against Heinrich's successor Konrad II. Captured in flight by the Germans (it is said on the Pons Aelius over the river Tiber), Alberto died a captive in Germany in 1029."3

"Albert Atto I (Italian: Alberto Azzo or Adalberto Azzo) (c. 970 – died before 1018[1] or in 1029[2]) was an Italian nobleman. He was a member of the Obertenghi (or Adalbertini) family. From 1014 onward, he was margrave of Milan and count of Luni, Genoa and Tortona.[3]
Life
"Albert was the son of Oberto II, count palatine of Milan, and Railenda, daughter of Count Riprand, and widow of Sigfred, Count of Seprio.
"Albert is attested in documents between 1011 and 1026.[4] On 10 May 1013, he was acting as a missus in Italy.[5] Also in May 1013 Albert is documented with iudiciaria (the right of justice) in Monselice. In 1014, he inherited the counties of Luni, Tortona, Genoa, and Milan on the death of his father, Otbert II, Margrave of Milan.[6] His holdings were extensive and both feudal and allodial. Albert and his brothers Hugh, Adalbert (IV), and Obizzo all carried the title margrave. Their sister Bertha married Arduin of Italy to ally the Anscarid and Obertenga families. Another sister named Bertha married Ulric Manfred II of Turin. Albert himself married Adela of Milan, a Salian and relative of Lanfranc, Count of Piacenza and Aucia.
"At first, Albert and his brothers supported their brother-in-law Arduin against the Emperor Henry II in the war for the Italian throne. In 1014, he did not oppose Henry's imperial coronation, but after Henry left in May, he sought to aid Arduin.[7] Albert was named as one of Henry II's opponents in an imperial diploma issued in July 1014 at Solingen.[8] The diploma indicates that Albert was among those who supported Arduin, and who had assaulted Pavia, Vercelli, and Novara. In 1019, he reconciled with Henry, but in 1022, all four brothers were captured by Henry's forces and Albert submitted. In Spring 1026, Albert joined Ulric Manfred in defending Pavia from Conrad II.[9]
Marriage and children

"Adalberto the Margrave, also known as "il Margravio" or "Adalberto III" (10th century – 951?) was an Italian nobleman tied with the Obertenghi family and a well-known ancestor to the Malaspina family.[1]
Biography and family ties
"Adalberto was elevated to the nobiliary title of "Visconte" in 940 and was given the name of Adalberto III. He also possessed the title of "marchese d'Italia" (Italian Marquise), and ruled over the marquisate of Milan[2] which included most of modern-day Lombardy and half of modern-day Ligury. He was the first born son of Guido di Toscana[3], Count and Duke of Lucca, and at a later time Marquise of Tuscany from 915 to 929. He was also the ancestor to the British royal family.
"Adalberto is considered to be the forefather of the Obertenghi family, and the junior branch the Miagro family of Liguria also called Miagro dei Oberthenghi, one of the most influential noble families of the Italian middle ages that shared very close ties to the families of Pallavicini and Malaspina. Either this page is incorrect or the link to Guido di Toscana is incorrect. The Guido reference clearly states "None of his children survived him and when he died in 928 or 929" yet Adalberto was elevated to the nobiliary title of "Visconte" in 940. [4]
Offspring
** Oberto I (?-975), Marquise of Milan from 951, he later became palatine count in 953 as well as the count of Luni, Genoa and Tortona.
** Ambroso (?-988), he was the bishop of Aléria in Corsica
