; Magnus I, Duke of Mecklenburg-Schwerin, -1384. He was first mentioned in 1355. When his father died in 1379, he ruled Mecklenburg together with his brothers Heinrich and Albrecht. However, Heinrich died in 1383 and Magnus I on 1 September 1384 after his return from Aachen where he had been for health reasons. He had been engaged first to a daughter of the Prince of Werle-Goldberg, then to Catharina, daughter of the Prince of Werle-Güstrow, then to Jutta of Saxe-Lauenberg, then finally to Elisabeth of Pommern whom he married in 1362.2 He was Duke of Mecklenburg-Schwerin between 1379 and 1385.3

      ; Isabelle de Foix-Castelbon hérita de tous les domaines de la maison de Foix à la mort de son frère Mathieu de Foix-Castelbon mort sans postérité (août 1398). Mais hériter ne fut pas simple.

Isabelle avait épousé (1384) Archambaud de Grailly qu'elle avait très vite associé au gouvernement de ses Etats. Or ce dernier avait embrassé fidèlement la cause des anglais et du Roi de Navarre contre le Roi de France. On était alors en pleine Guerre de Cent Ans où les Rois Valois, Anglais et Navarrais se disputaient la Couronne de France. Rappellons que la Maison de Foix reconnaissait la suzeraineté du Roi de France pour ses possesions fuxéennes, la Vicomté de Béarn demeurant terre souveraine. Le Roi de france s'opposa donc dans un premier temps à cet héritage contraire à ses propres intérêts. Les troupes du Roi de France s'emparèrent du Comté de Foix, du moins certaines parties.

Puis une trêve fût conclue. Isabelle se présenta au Roi qui la reçue pour la renvoyer chez elle. Archambaud se présenta à son tour et tout se pacifia. Le Roi rendit ses prises (Mazères et Saverdun) et les deux fils gardés jusqu'alors en otage. Le 2 mars 1402, Archambaud et ses deux fils jurèrent fidélité au Roi de France. Par la suite, Archambaud devait être nommé Capitaine-général en Languedoc (1412).

Le fils Jean Ier fut le successeur.4 She was Comtesse de Foix, Vicomtesse de Castelbon et Bearn between 1398 and 1426.2
