The 1st EARL m 2nd (contract 21 Feb 1490/1) Lady Margaret Gordon, dau of 1st Earl of Huntly (see HUNTLY, M), and d 18 Oct 1508, leaving, with other issue (see HAMILTON and BRANDON, D).2 He was Earl of Bothwell on 17 October 1488.1,2
